The owners go above and beyond, and the service is excellent and warm. It's in a quiet, convenient area, within walking distance of the beach and restaurants. Montañita is just five minutes away by taxi, and the ride costs $1.50.

This is my second time writing this review. Somehow the first one was already deleted? My family and I hadn't even been here 24 hours when we were robbed in our room while sleeping. The owner has nobody watching the property and there are no surveillance cameras. It felt super unsafe, especially traveling with children. Even the police themselves said this place had been robbed before.

A great price for all the good stuff you'd want: a great location, A/C, clean rooms, a comfortable bed, hot shower, TV, refrigerator, small kitchen, and a hammock.

The rooms and bathrooms were clean, the beds comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. You can see the vehicles from the room, and the beach is 100 meters away. The service was excellent and good value for money. Mr. Jorge Morán Lopez was an excellent host. I'd definitely stay again.

We spent a month in Ecuador in March 2017, on our first trip there. At Sunset Hotel in Manglaralto, we found the quiet, safe, clean, affordable place we were hoping for. The sea is a two-minute walk away, in a welcoming village of a thousand people. Our hosts were friendly and welcoming, always available, and multilingual. Long live Ecuador and Manglaralto!
