The food is delicious, breakfast is included, and the staff are incredible. I work online, and the Wi-Fi is excellent. My cabana even has a great desk facing the ocean, so I can work with that view. I live in Montanita, but this is still my staycation spot. It’s a quiet, serene hideaway close to everything, about a three-minute walk from town for food, drinks, dancing, and a good time. You can feel tucked away while still being near it all. The rooms are spacious, bright, cheerful, and very clean, with comfortable beds, hot showers, and everything well cared for. I love the rustic bungalows, especially since you wouldn’t expect the insides to be so nice. Fall asleep to the ocean, then relax on the beach or in one of the hammocks. There’s a fun swimming pool too if you don’t feel like going into the ocean. The sunrises and sunsets are incredible. It’s the perfect low-key beachfront escape, and I almost don’t want to share how amazing it is.

It’s right on a quieter stretch of beach, with hammocks, but still close enough to town. The place is cute, clean, and friendly, and our beds were comfortable and clean. The staff were wonderful and attentive to everything we needed. Easily the best stay I’ve had anywhere in South America.

I stayed three nights through AirBnB in a small cabin near the road and entrance. It was very quiet, and the bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was very good. Wi-Fi worked well in the morning and afternoon, then slowed down at night. I suspect that was due to heavier internet use around town, rather than their own system.

The walk along the beach into town is lovely, and although La Gondola is farther from the center than some places, it’s still only about 5-10 minutes away. There are hammocks everywhere, and breakfast by the ocean was great. The included meal is simple but delicious, with eggs, a roll, butter and jam, coffee, and fresh juice. Our spacious room was extremely clean, with a large, comfortable bed. The Wi-Fi was super fast, the air conditioner worked perfectly and let us set the exact temperature, and the hot water never ran out. Melisa and Marie were incredibly friendly and made us feel at home. For the price, it can’t be beat.

The owner was super helpful. It’s a cool, comfortable place right on the beach, with lots of lovely open space and plenty of amenities to enjoy.
