ME Hotel in Montañita Estates

The rooms were clean and had everything we needed, and the pools were kept clean too. I especially loved having a jacuzzi on the patio. The food was great, and the staff gave us wonderful service. It made my first visit to Montañita really memorable. I’ll be back.

I booked for a week, but left after just one night because the conditions were impossible to put up with. Crickets were all over the room, in the bathroom, on the bed, inside the kitchen, crawling around everywhere. I couldn’t sleep, and the room felt dirty, unsafe, and neglected, as if basic hygiene didn’t matter. When we told the manager, he was rude, dismissive, and nearly hostile. He didn’t apologize, offer a fix, or try to help. We felt like an inconvenience instead of paying guests. They took our money and gave us filthy conditions and terrible service in return. This place is a complete scam. I don’t understand how it’s allowed to operate. Save your money, time, and sanity, and do not book here. There are plenty of other options.

He was rude, arrogant, and completely indifferent. He offered no help, no fix, and not even a proper room change. It felt like he thought we were the problem for complaining. The room was infested, and the whole experience showed a total lack of hygiene, professionalism, and respect for guests. If you value your health, money, and peace of mind, stay far away. It’s a disgrace that they’re still operating and charging people as if they offer anything decent. I’d never return, and I’ll do everything I can to make sure no one else goes through this.

The hotel’s just across the street from the main strip, close enough for a four-minute walk to the beach but far enough away to avoid too much noise. The staff were bilingual, kind, helpful, and accessible 24/7. The internet was fantastic too, with 20mbps download speed.
