When there weren’t many people around, it was wonderfully quiet and peaceful. I visited in October 2021, and the cloud forest setting and misty green mountain views made the journey off the beaten track well worth it. Gabriel was super friendly and even showed me around, including a short hike to an impressive hidden waterfall nearby. My favorite part was the steep, pretty challenging trail in the private nature reserve. It starts behind the main house and climbs high into gorgeous, pristine, incredibly lush primary rainforest. The whole place is incredibly beautiful.

My dog felt like she was in PARADISE here, though she needed a bath afterward, and she definitely had a great time. It’s a welcoming, pleasant place for anyone looking to get away from daily stress and routine. The surroundings feel peaceful and relaxing, and the staff pay attention to guests and the little details. The service was exceptional.
