The food was so fresh, the people friendly, and the grounds incredible. There were fires in the rooms, wildlife, and beautiful views from every direction. Ana Maria took great care of me at their little piece of paradise. The smells, sounds, and powerful feeling of being in nature keep Casa Mojanda and the beauty if Ecuador on my mind.

We hiked to the waterfalls and had a delicious dinner afterward. All the food was so good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The beautiful grounds were well kept, and the location is amazing. A one of a kind gem, definitely recommend staying here.

During my two week trip to Ecuador, this was the most beautiful hotel I stayed at. It sits up the mountain along a bumpy gravel road and felt like one of the purest places I’ve visited. The individual little houses are built in an old Spanish style, and would be amazing for families or a romantic couple. The food was amazing too. Jorge speaks great English, and after we talked briefly about local music, he arranged for a band to come play at dinner. We danced and sang with the other groups staying there, about 20 other people, and had an amazing time. Then we soaked in the Japanese style hot tub. The owners were there during our stay and were so sweet. Don’t pass this place up.
