Fernando was kind and quick to help. There are several shared spaces, with couches and a terrace where I could do laundry. Plenty of room to hang clothes, and they have a dryer. The kitchen is spacious, quiet, and well equipped, and you can leave your luggage for a few days if you're doing the Quilotoa Loop. The hostel is right in the city center, beside a pharmacy, restaurants, shops, and the main square. My room was a good size, clean and quiet, with its own bathroom, hot shower, and towels included. Breakfast is included too, though you may need to remind them to refill things. It was simple but nice: yogurt, fruit, banana, oats, coffee, tea, bread, and jam. It wasn't busy when I stayed, so the window facing the inner yard was fine, though it might get noisy.

The staff made me feel welcome from check-in right through to leaving, and the hostel is right in the center of Latacunga. Rooms are basic, but spotless and have what you need. Breakfast was simple and tasty, a nice start to the day. For the very fair price, the value is hard to beat. It's a good option if you're after inexpensive, decent accommodation. I was delighted with my stay and would happily come back.

We booked a Cotopaxi day trip through the hostel and had an awesome time. The tour and the hostel were both great value for the price. The place itself was comfortable, clean, and tidy, and the hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful. We stayed three nights in central Latacunga and would gladly return.

Santiago welcomed me so warmly and was ready to listen to what people wanted and help make it happen, including tours. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and breakfast was really nice. The hostel is close to the city's central plaza, and the bus terminal is about a 15-minute walk away. I highly recommend it.

The room was really spacious and had a lovely shower, and it was quiet too. The hostel is in a great spot. The guys who run it are super friendly and happy to share advice and information about things to do around Latacunga.
