If you're after a cheap place near the center and don't expect much, it could work. The owners are cheerful and friendly, and parking is great for smaller vehicles and motorcycles. The rooms were okay, the beds firm, and I slept fine. But it's an older place that needs maintenance and isn't very clean. The Wi-Fi kept cutting in and out, my room's TV was damaged, and the hot water was very weak. There were mold spots in the bathroom, peeling paint, and bare wires hanging out. The kitchen was very dirty. I'd stay again only because it's so cheap and close to the town center.

We could walk straight to the main square from here, which made exploring easy. The room was comfortable and the shower was hot. The owner used to be a local cycling champion and was so welcoming to us and our bikes. They really looked after us. A great base for bike tourists!

The room was basic but comfortable, with enough space to open our bags, and the double bed was very good. We picked this place for its price and central location, and the location worked well. But if you’re planning to cook, be warned: the kitchen was dirty and poorly equipped. The stove, walls, cupboards, floor and eating area had years of grime and lots of dust. There were hardly any utensils, and we had to ask reception downstairs for plates. The few pans were old, greasy and had no lids. Even the dish soap was old and smelly. I’m used to cooking in hostels and while camping, and I’m not fussy, but I wouldn’t cook or eat in this kitchen. I’ve seen similar complaints here and on Booking, so it seems to be an ongoing problem. Also, the water pump ran day and night. If your room is near or under it, or you sit in the hammocks, you’ll hear it loudly switching on and off. I’d recommend the place if saving money is the priority, but I think you can find somewhere better in town for the same price.

For 8$ per person per night, it’s a good deal. The common area is nice, the place is clean, and there’s warm water and towels. Wi-Fi was slow, and the kitchen was dirty.

The staff were really nice, and the place was cheap, clean and well located. I liked it a lot, even though it isn’t a very social hostel.
