A cozy ranch-style place with lovely views. They have a restaurant and drinks, and the food and drinks were good. The staff were very accommodating. Highly recommend.

After a day shopping for ponchos in Otavalo or leather in Cotacachi, this is a perfect place to unwind, with great hospitality and food. The clean, quiet rooms are comfortable, and a cabalgata or massage makes a nice addition if you’re interested. Step off the highway and it feels like going back three centuries, following in Simon Bolivar’s footsteps. This historic hotel is a gem not to be missed.
