The room was cleaned daily and the air conditioning worked well. I also liked the quiet central location, garden common area with tables, chairs and hammocks, and the paintings on the walls. It’s a good budget option for the price, though the place could use a bit of freshening up. My bed wasn’t very comfortable, and the shower’s hot water was unsteady. There were lots of ants in my room on day one; I reported it and was told they’d handle it. The problem got better but didn’t go away. Another day I came back to find my door left open and all my things accessible, with people able to walk straight in from the street. I’d keep valuables out of the room.

You get hammocks and nice rooms, and the location right in town is perfect. The only real drawback for me was the fridge, which was unusable because there was moldy food inside. If you’re hoping to cook and eat at the place, it won’t work well.

The staff were usually friendly and helpful, and the rooms are about what you’d expect for a cheap stay. But at 11 p.m. I woke up to a flooded room. There was no staff on site at night, and it took two hours to sort out. My belongings got wet and damaged, and I got no compensation, just an offer to move to a worse-looking room. I barely slept before an early tour. The place could use repairs and upgrades, and the response to problems needs to be better. The bag storage should be locked too, since anyone can walk in from the street.

The room was spacious and really comfortable. The shared kitchen is well equipped, with free water, tea, and coffee, and there’s a lovely garden too. Best of all, the hostel has a warm, social feel that makes it easy to meet other travellers. Highly recommend it!

Robert, the owner, was super kind throughout our stay. We had a great time without any problems. The room was clean, with a hot shower, amenities, and AC. There’s also a kitchen with basic tools and a free water dispenser. Thank you!
