The owner is lovely, and there’s a large shared kitchen the family can use. The place is conveniently near two beaches, though a little outside the town center. Rooms each have their own theme, with simple but pretty decor. Our room had a giant, comfortable bed and air conditioning.

Sonia and her family were so attentive, and I’d happily return. The little house felt like home, with comfortable rooms, air conditioning, and a shared kitchen stocked with what we needed for breakfast and dinner. Since the Galapagos is expensive for us, being able to eat at home on a budget and know what we were eating was a real help. There’s a fridge to store food, and fresh water pitchers are always available for refilling hiking bottles. The place is very close to the best beach and only a few blocks from downtown, the port, and the boardwalk. One more thing, Sonia found a neighbor to take us on an excursion, and it was excellent. I highly recommend staying here.
