The beds were comfortable, the staff were lovely, and the room's air conditioning was fantastic. We also liked spending evenings relaxing and cooking on the terrace. Our stay on San Cristobal was great, especially for the amazing price of $90 for three nights. The WiFi barely worked throughout our stay. The shower temperature kept swinging between hot and cold, and tiny bugs were all over the kitchen counter, so we had to watch out while preparing food. Still, I'd recommend the place.

It's a 10-minute walk from the airport, and the room was a good size for two. The setup is a bit spartan, but for the price it had everything needed: working WiFi, shower and AC.

We really enjoyed watching the sunset from the rooftop terrace, and the place was okay overall. The restaurant nearby is worth a visit: turn right outside the hostel, head uphill past the market, and look for it on the corner with the tall chimney over the BBQ grill. We ate there twice. Good food and a great price. A few practical things could be better. The kitchen and fridge need a proper clean, especially when lots of people share them. I'd prefer thicker, darker curtains to block more light, and a floor mat for the shower room.

The location was great and the price was low, but the cleanliness was awful. There were ants and cockroaches in our room, which may come with island life, but dead ones stayed on the kitchen floor for days without being swept up. Brown, dirty water sat in bowls on the stove for four days too. The Wi-Fi was terrible.
