I’ve stayed here for a long time, but they showed no interest in giving good service. The WiFi didn’t reach my room, so at 1 am I was literally sitting on the floor trying to get a signal. Staff didn’t help properly and blamed the receptionist for putting me in a room far from the router. That’s a ridiculous excuse when the whole building should have working internet. There weren’t any outlets in the hallway or even the restaurant. Around 1:30 am I ended up sitting by the garbage just to get online for work. Put “business” in the title? I didn’t even get an apology. Nothing.

The service was wonderful, and breakfast was delicious. We had a two-bedroom suite for our party of four, and the room was spotless. It was more than I expected, and I’ll definitely recommend it.

For a week’s stay it’s fine, though I wouldn’t choose it for a longer visit. It’s an okay hotel in Guayaqil, but the internet can get slow, breakfast is nearly the same every day, and most of the reception staff speak Spanish.

It’s a good hotel, though all the paperwork you have to finish before getting to your room bothers me. I guess most hotels do that.

Room 217 was at the back, so it was quiet. It had a queen bed, which was comfortable, and the room was large. The memory foam mattress was great, and breakfast was great too.
