Hotel Miconia

The lobby and breakfast area have an amazing view, and the property itself is beautiful. Playa Mann and some great restaurants are an easy walk away. There’s a lovely patio with a pool and hot tub, and the beds were really comfortable.

A local recommended this restaurant, and it was a good tip. We had lunch upstairs with a view over the cove, ordering Coconut Fish and Fish Miconia. Both were outstanding. Service was on the slow side, but the food was expertly prepared, plated, and served. Highly recommend if you're not in a hurry.

The location is the only thing I liked. It's extremely overpriced, and there are basically no amenities beyond a tiny pool, about 3 feet deep, that I wouldn't want to get into. When there's a football match, staff and their friends gather in the “restaurant” and shout at the TV and one another. Breakfast is included, but only the coffee and juice were any good. My room was dirty, with trash from a previous guest under the bed. The WiFi never worked in my room. When I told staff, one employee acted like I needed to prove it and showed me how to connect, even though I explained there was no signal anywhere on the second or third floors. It was awkward and condescending. Avoid this place.

The layout works well for groups, and it's easy to walk to anything you need on Main Street. Staff were great. Jorge seemed to be there all the time and was a fantastic server, polite, quick, and always on time. Sani also gave us one of the best massages we've ever had. A really good hotel and restaurant, and a great stay.
