A cheap, cheerful stay in San cristobal, with pleasant English-speaking hosts and Luna the dog. We spotted about 3/4 ants in the bathroom one evening, which was very minor, despite seeing reviews mentioning infestations. Good option if you're visiting the Galapagos on a budget.

The quiet location was lovely, and it's still only a five-minute walk to the center. I also loved the two calm dogs. Silvia and José were lovely hosts, and the room was spacious and very clean. The WiFi was the best I've had in the Galapagos so far, especially in the garden and kitchen. There's free drinking water, plus a good kitchen with complimentary tea and coffee. Just two minutes from the pier, with fast, reliable WiFi. Silvia and Jose made me feel very welcome. The rooms are basic, but have everything you need. Highly recommended.

José and Silvia were wonderful, helping us with everything and sharing great tips for tours, places to visit, and restaurants. We felt right at home at this guesthouse and wished we could have stayed longer. We had a lovely week here, and both the rooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. It's the kind of hostal you hope to find, and it was nice to see the owners care about the environment.

The owners are really friendly and have been here a long time, so they can tell you all about the history. It's easy to get to the main area. Rooms and bathrooms are clean and tidy, and the kitchen is great for cooking. Definitely a great place to stay!
