Our room was right above the ocean, on the top floor, with its own balcony. There seems to be just one room up there, along with a small pool. The property opens directly onto the beach, and the room came with hot water, Netflix, free Wi-Fi, and parking. Breakfast was included too, with coffee, bolon, eggs, juice, and fruit, and it was good. There’s lots of space, including open living and gathering areas that I assume can be rented for parties. The place is big, colorful, and nicely decorated, and it seems well maintained, though the shower head could use an upgrade. Diego and Patricia were friendly, warm, and professional. The location couldn’t be better. Go check it out.

Puerto Cayo has a lovely beach and feels like a relaxed home base for exploring the area, away from the bustle of Puerto Lopez and the busier tourist spots. The people here are friendly and caring, and the place has a homey feel.

We had great service from the staff, and the place was very clean. It sits right on the beach in a lovely part of Puerto Cayo, with a beautiful, clean stretch of sand. Highly recommended.

The rooms are comfortable enough, with TVs and Netflix, and there’s Wi-Fi throughout the house. We could use the terrace with its foosball table, plus the living room and kitchen. Breakfast is served on the terrace and was decent, with a choice of Creole or continental. The yellow house is right on the beach, in a very quiet area outside Puerto Cayo. For dinner in the town center, you’ll need a taxi or your own car. The house is comfortable but not luxurious, and the hosts are very friendly.
