We could still see the ocean from our second-floor rooms, even though the hotel is two blocks from the beach and Malecon, where you’ll find restaurants and typical food. The rooms were comfortable, nicely furnished, and the bed was good. I did find a bunch of hair in the shower, but the woman who showed us the rooms cleaned and disinfected it straight away. The TVs only have YouTube. Booking two rooms at Hostal Poseidon turned out well. Someone from the hotel called to confirm after I reserved, and they answered my email about parking immediately. The lot is about 30 meters behind the hotel in a rustic-looking area, though we had no problems with it. The hotel is easy to find, and check-in was simple. There are balconies facing the pool where you can relax after the beach. It looked clean and inviting, but we didn’t have time to swim this time. I’d recommend the place. The staff are very nice, attentive, and keen to help with questions or anything you need.

A lovely little courtyard with a pool, where breakfast was served. It was really quiet, and breakfast was delicious. The hotel feels grand and seems to have been around for a long time.

My room was on the third floor, and the view was lovely. The staff were very friendly. It’s two blocks from the beach.
