This was our third stay, and we find the place comfortable, clean, and nicely modern, right down to the hot and cold faucets. It’s also very pretty. We missed out on an ocean-facing front room this time, so next visit we’ll know to ask for one.

Construction is going on all over the place, with a lot of noise from 8-5. It looks like the work will continue for a few more months. After two days of this, we asked to stay a little later because our bus wasn’t leaving yet. They wanted $10, even though almost nobody was staying there. That didn’t feel like good customer service.

The owners are very friendly, and it’s peaceful here, right by the beach. The main seafront bars are only about a five-minute walk away, and there’s secure parking. Rooms cost $25 for a standard double or $30 for one with a sea view. Hot showers, wifi, a restaurant serving good breakfast and dinner, and tours can be arranged too. Construction makes things a little noisy from around 7.30am.

The front rooms look out to a great sea view, and they’re a good size with comfortable beds. We also enjoyed the restaurant’s breakfast and dinner.
