Friendly service overall, with a nice little outdoor pool and a comfortable breakfast area overlooking the sea. The location is right across from the beach and close to the Malecón’s bars and restaurants, but far enough away to avoid nightlife noise. Our room was decent, with two separate beds for three people. Unfortunately, the shower didn’t work properly, and the drain smelled really unpleasant.

We had to give our room away in the end. The whole experience had been so unpleasant, and we weren't allowed to use the payment as credit for another stay. We'd booked for a couple of nights on a family trip and arrived with our one-year-old. The hotel was surrounded by construction debris, the pool looked neglected and had leaves in it, and there was what might have been cat or dog poop near the pool and jacuzzi. We tried to cancel after seeing it, but reception refused. Staff attention was poor, and we had to keep searching for anyone who could help. We waited for the person in charge, who arrived late.

Nua was lovely and had air conditioning. The garden setting is beautiful, and the service was great. It’s also an easy stroll to the main commercial area. Almost perfect!

The crust was thin and overcooked, and there wasn’t much topping. The pizza was a big disappointment, well below average, and I wouldn’t recommend it. There’s definitely room for improvement.

The cocktails were strong and the pizza was pretty decent. Happy hour runs until 9 pm, with two for $7. Forno down the street had better pizza, though.
