The front desk guy was the best. He helped us with tours and even called to check what was going on so we’d be sure to get our tour. He also suggested renting a bike instead of walking, and he was right. The Wall of Tears is far, and we would have regretted walking. We did the whole tour ourselves, an 18 kilometer round trip. Renting a bike cost 10 each for 5 hours, which was more than enough. I highly recommend biking.

The staff were really nice, and they cleaned the room every day. For a hostel-style place, the price felt like good value. A couple of things in our room were broken, though, including the towel bar and soap dispenser, and neither was replaced during our three-night stay.

Wilmer made our stay easy, with helpful tips for places to eat and where to do laundry. We could check in early after arriving and leave our bags there after checkout, which was convenient. The place is central on Isabella and good value, though it’s not a fancy hotel.

The rooftop was a lovely place to relax after the beach or an excursion, and the kitchen was comfortable to cook in. I stayed three nights, and as a budget backpacker I thought the price was among the best on the island. There’s air conditioning, and the cleaning staff made the beds and swept the floors daily, which really helped with all the sand in the dorms. Wilbur at reception was friendly and accommodating. It felt like a nice place to call home, and I’d recommend it to anyone after a comfortable stay at a fair price.
