The ocean was quite loud, so it took us one night to get used to it, but that comes with being close to nature. We had a spacious room with a sea view and a very comfortable bed. The hotel is right on the beach, with shops and restaurants a five-minute walk away. Breakfast was very good. We loved staying in Casita. It felt like home immediately, and the girls at reception helped with all our questions and requests.

We paid 180 USD a night, and it wasn't worth even 100. The rooms were old and tiny, with literally no room for our luggage. Barely any water came out of the shower, and the temperature kept changing. It was VERY loud, and you could hear every word from the rooms next door. Breakfast was okay, nothing special. Much better options are available for a lot less.

The lower floors may not offer much privacy because of the stairs. Still, we really enjoyed our stay. The small, charming rooms were very clean, and the rooftop patio was fabulous for the included breakfast and sunset watching. The location is amazing, right on the beach and just minutes from the town square.

There was a sewage smell in our bathroom one afternoon, and the bedrooms of the people traveling with us smelled that way too. Isabela has a population of around 3,000 and doesn't have the same sewage infrastructure as Santa Cruz, so perhaps it wasn't too surprising. The small hotel is right on the beach, with an amazing view, and the rooms were very clean. Fresh water was provided in each room since you mustn't drink the water on Isabela or elsewhere in the Galapagos. The staff were friendly and spoke very good English. The hotel backs onto the town's main street. Its third-floor restaurant only serves breakfast, but there are lots of other restaurants around town. Overall, it was a good place to stay.

This was the second hotel of our 10-day Galapagos trip, and it was great. The rooftop had an unbeatable ocean view, the breakfast was wonderful, and the beachside location was excellent. They also did our laundry very quickly in the middle of the trip.
