Elena kept in touch really well before and during our stay, and booking was easy. The house is gorgeous and looked just like the photos. It was spotless, comfortable, well furnished, and had everything we could have wanted. My family had such a good time, and we can’t wait to return.

We’ve rented from Elena twice now. It’s a great place for 3-5 people who don’t need lots of space but want a quieter spot by the beach. I’m planning to rent it again in 2026.

It was hard to leave Sandy Feet House, even with the local area and tours being just as fabulous. The beach was spectacular, shared with iguanas, sea lions, oystercatchers and pelicans. The house is beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, and the owners were helpful and quick to respond. We especially loved the garden hammocks, the back deck and hose for rinsing sandy feet, the views, kitchen table, Galapagos books, and welcome bottle of fizz. Our expectations were already high, and the house exceeded them. It’ll be hard for another holiday to measure up. I’d recommend booking if your dates are available.

Communication with the owners went smoothly, and the house is beautifully decorated and fully equipped. It’s centrally located too. A real gem on the lovely island of Isabela.

We fell for Sandy Feet House as soon as we saw it online, and it lived up to what we’d hoped. It’s right on the beach, a brand new, tastefully furnished house with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The kitchen has everything you need, and the washer and dryer were fantastic. We loved our time in Puerto Villamil, the real Galápagos, as one local described it.
