The atmosphere is really nice, and the staff are friendly. Daily room service keeps everything clean, and there's plenty of hot water. The rooms themselves are just okay, though. My main gripe is that there's no refrigerator or microwave, and the view from my window was lousy. Toilet flushing has low water pressure, so I wouldn't take much to clog it. It's next to a very large mall, but getting there means walking around and crossing a very busy four lane road. The property is also beside a busy main highway, though access is from a side street. You have to press a button at the gate to get staff to let you into the lobby. A bit expensive for what you get, but not too bad.

Maria and the rest of the staff were so helpful and courteous, and I couldn't be happier with my stay. It's a beautiful house and property, with plenty of shopping and several good restaurants nearby. Highly recommend it!

We came as a group of 15, family and friends from Canada for a wedding, and this family run hotel in Cumbaya worked perfectly for us. The staff did everything they could to make our stay happy and fun, and the rooms were clean and well cared for. There's a pretty grass courtyard overlooking Shopping Centre Scala, plus an open air and covered kitchen with a dining table and a sitting area. Breakfast is available from the hotel for a small fee of $5. I used the public kitchen for early morning tea, and the staff were happy to provide dishes and cutlery when needed. I'd highly recommend staying here when visiting Quito or Cumbaya.
