GO Quito Hotel

The place itself is beautiful, with a lovely atmosphere, but my visit was overshadowed by a very uncomfortable encounter. A short man I was told was the "Executive chef" intimidated and harassed me, leaving me feeling uneasy and unwelcome. I'm sharing this so other women know to be cautious. Guests should feel safe and comfortable in a place meant to be enjoyable. I hope management takes this seriously and makes sure everyone is treated with respect.

The welcome drink was a lovely touch, and the breakfast and coffee were great. Fernando and the whole staff are amazing, and the rooms are really comfy. I'd always stay here when I'm in Quito. :-)

After a long flight, the great food and plentiful breakfast buffet were just what we needed. The hotel was so clean, and the views are stunning. Museums and sights are an easy walk away, with other restaurants just around the corner. I also enjoyed relaxing in the peaceful reception area and chatting with one of the workers while practicing my Spanish. Thanks for helping us during our stay. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Quito who wants a relaxing stay in a desirable city location, and I would happily come back.

The property was beautiful, and we were excited to have friends and family stay at GO Quito for our wedding weekend. We confirmed the size of our wedding block well in advance, got the official booking link, and shared it with all our guests. Then we received a shocking message from group sales executive Soledad Villarroel: the hotel had booked our rooms for a conference and could no longer host our wedding party. It was misleading, dishonest, and incredibly unprofessional, leaving us scrambling to find somewhere else to stay. I hope the hotel changes its booking practices so other couples don't go through the same stress. Until then, I'd suggest considering another hotel for important events.
