One thing to keep in mind when booking at Nostalgia Capri is to request a room at the back. The main street gets very noisy. The location is central and close to major transport, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff are kind and capable when problems come up. Breakfast is basic but tasty, with fresh fruit, eggs, coffee or tea, and bread or a typical Ecuadorian dish. The bathroom is small, and regulating the hot water to a comfortable temperature is tricky. The electrical outlets are also far from the bed and sofa, which makes using a computer inconvenient.

The parking area is so small that I wouldn’t try bringing a pickup or a similar-sized car.
