What a find! We’re independent travellers in our 60s and came across this lovely hotel in our Guide Book. It has loads of antique charm and sits back from the main road behind a gate that’s locked at night, in a great spot in the historical city. Our room was comfortable, with hot and cold running showers. There was always a very friendly, informative, helpful staff member on duty, 24/7. Breakfast is no longer available, but there are plenty of cafes and restaurants close by. We have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending it.

The owners speak English and are super nice. You step outside and you’re right in the heart of the historical center, so the location couldn’t be better. It’s a great historical building and looks like the pictures. Simply amazing!!! Just a fun fact, the 5 star hotel next door is $700 us a night.

It was easy to explore old town Quito from this beautiful, charming hotel in a central location. We loved our stay, and the staff were lovely and so helpful. We’d definitely stay here again!

The staff were really helpful, and it was quiet at night. The building is beautiful and in a great spot, right next to San Francisco Square. We had a hot water shower with good pressure, and secure motorbike parking in their garage. I’d stay again.

The hotel felt very safe, and the rooms were clean. We had good WiFi and the shower had great water pressure. The decorations inside were really nice too. The staff were super nice. I’d recommend it 10/10.
