Getting around was easy: Uber was inexpensive and reliable, the walk to the center took about 40 minutes, and the new metro was two stops away, with the local station about 2-3 blocks from the hotel. Staff were impeccably polite and helpful. Breakfast was included, plentiful, and had a good mix of hot and cold food plus lots of fruit. The restaurant menu had enough variety and the food was good. This is a quiet, safe part of Quito, about a mile from the busy tourist center. Rooms are very clean and laid out differently, some with small outdoor courtyards and others with balconies. They’re a little cramped, but affordable and more than adequate since most people will be out during the day. There’s filtered water in the room and more in the lobby, along with tea and coffee available 24/7.

Who else greets you on the street with an umbrella at midnight? The staff here really care about your stay, and they’re wonderful people who are happy to help. Kevin, Cindy, and Daniel were fantastic. The rooms are great for the price, and breakfast was great too. This is the perfect stay in Quito, 20 stars out of 5!

The hotel is right in the center of town, so everything was within walking distance, and there was always a guard, which made me feel very safe. I came with a tour group and had a really nice stay. The food was nice, and there was plenty of water in the lobby, plus drinking and tooth-brushing water in the room. Our rooms were kept clean and in good shape. We stayed a few nights, went to the Galapagos Islands, then came back; they kindly let us leave behind anything we didn’t need until our return. The elevator is tiny, so expect to use the stairs. There was a bit of street noise.

The hotel looks nice, and breakfast was great. My first room was musty enough to make me dizzy, but they gave me another when I asked.

The rooms are simple but perfectly serviceable. It’s a lovely building with lots of lounges and interesting details, and the staff are friendly. A security guard helped me get taxis, and the receptionist brought me a heater when my room felt cold.
