The staff were very helpful, and the breakfast was tasty. This quaint hotel is close to Quito’s attractions, on a quiet tree-lined street, with good security and a lovely garden and courtyard where you can relax. The rooms and property are very clean.

It’s a small, unusual hotel with 16 rooms arranged around a courtyard garden, and security is very high. It’s family-run, and the staff couldn’t be friendlier or more helpful. Shops, restaurants, and the Artisimal Matkets are very close. I’d stay again next time I’m in the area.

The rooms are clean, though the furnishings are pretty basic. There’s a nice garden, and the location is good, with the metro a short walk away and just two stops to the historic center. The staff were all friendly, but Carla especially stood out for being so warm and welcoming. Lovely little hotel, I’d recommend it 👍🏼

La Cartuja is a lovely boutique hotel in a former embassy, with a wonderful courtyard to relax in. The staff are so friendly and kind, and breakfast is hearty with eggs cooked to order. It’s convenient for the metro and many sights.

This family-run hotel was used during my trip with Intepid. The staff were friendly and attentive, and they speak English, which helped a lot. I stayed in three different rooms. The upstairs rooms seemed a little more updated than the ones on garden level, though it was nice to be near the garden on my first night. It gets cold at night in Quito, so I appreciated the blankets the hotel provided. Breakfast was delicious too.
