NH Collection Quito Royal

The location made it easy to walk to museums, the old part of town, and the botanical garden, and the breakfast buffet was awesome. Staff were very helpful, too. I’d stay here again. The traffic noise was a downside, and I wish the room had a comfortable chair. The desk chair there was uncomfortable.

The staff were really nice and helpful, and there was always a taxi waiting outside the lobby when we needed one. We could also call the same driver to collect us wherever we were and take us back to the hotel. The stay was worth what we paid. I booked through my AMEX hotel benefits and received an extra $100 voucher at check-in to spend on services. My wife and I booked the spa, and I paid $18 out of pocket. If you like local food, skip the breakfast option. There are lots of good places to eat nearby.

After my hike at Cotopaxi, I decided to add another night even though I’d only booked one. The staff recognized me from earlier in the week and gave me a warm welcome back. They were welcoming and helpful from the start, and the rooms were comfortable with amazing views. I really enjoyed my stay at the NH royal Quito. The rates seemed amazing for the service, and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting quito or nearby areas. 10/10!

The gym was very welcome, and breakfast was good. Staff were kind, with several good restaurants nearby, and the hotel was convenient for the hospital. I was in Quito because of urgent medical circumstances in my family, and they prioritized my request for two beds. We had to travel back quickly with the patient for medical reasons. The hotel still charged the full amount instead of deducting two days. Maybe that was formally correct, but given what was happening it felt inconsiderate. That was a shame.
