The rooms were only average, and at breakfast there was plenty of food but hardly any cleared tables. We first stayed while traveling with Avalon Tours, then came back a week later after the tour. Check-in went fine both times, and we added an extra night after returning. There'd been communication, so it was frustrating when at 2 p.m. the next day we were suddenly told to move right away. They put us in the same type of room two floors down, disrupting our afternoon, and blamed it on not knowing what had happened. The service after that was awful. We got drink vouchers for the hassle, but apparently ordered the wrong drinks and couldn't use them. Then they tried to charge us $68.00 USD for a gin and tonic. Once that was sorted out, we found the lights and HVAC weren't working in the new room; maintenance had to fix the card reader inside the door. The rooms themselves were satisfactory. Still, after better stays at the Hilton and Marriott properties on the same trip, I plan to avoid Swisshotel.

The staff were warm and accommodating, and we had a lovely Valentine's Day here. Our room was great, with access to the pool and gym, and the buffet breakfast was fantastic.

There are plenty of restaurants in the area, and the location is great. The food was excellent, the rooms were roomy, and service was quite good. The hotel is a little old, though it is well kept. My one complaint is how clearly you can hear whoever's in the next room.

The views were beautiful, and the food was excellent. The room felt just the right size, the bed was very comfortable, and the shower was refreshing.

Good location and a nice property. A few of the younger people at the front desk seemed immature and unprofessional. I thought the breakfast buffet and laundry were a ripoff, so I found local options myself. The bellhops and concierge weren't useful for that.
