Zen Hotel Quito

The airport shuttle was just $25, and our driver was the sweetest. We also had no electricity problems during our stay, even though other areas did. Hotel Zen felt modern, clean, and very safe. The front desk staff were so friendly, and the breakfast buffet had delicious coffee. It was easy to walk to everything nearby. Locals advised us to take cabs at night, so we stayed in after dark, but felt very safe walking around during the day. I'd absolutely stay here again!

From my room, I could see the street and the mountain of Quito. The rooms were extremely clean, and we got fresh towels every two days. Breakfast had plenty of food, juices, and coffee. The staff were kind and ready to help. There was a price mix-up at check-in: the booking showed one price, while the hotel asked for extra money. Luckily, the manager stepped in, and we paid the amount shown in the application. He was a very kind, smiling gentleman. I'd definitely stay there again!

The staff were lovely and took care of everything when we asked to move from our first room, which faced the main street and got noisy early in the morning. By the time we got back from our day tour, they'd moved all our things to a much quieter room. They also kept my suitcase for 10 days while I traveled to Galapagos without it, no hesitation at all. The rooms are spacious, modern, very clean, and well kept, with super comfortable beds. Breakfast was really nice too, with fresh bread, fruit, juices, eggs made to order, coffee, cheese, jam, and cereals. It's good value if breakfast isn't included and you add it later. The location is quite nice as well. Really good value in Quito.

The room was big and everything was clean. The team was nice, and breakfast was great.
