After more than 40 years of traveling, this is the first hotel I’ve ever given five stars and a rave review. I’m on the road for work and spend around 100 nights a year in hotels, so that’s saying a lot. Asher Hotel has spacious rooms, a well-designed layout, and a new facility. The hospitality and service were outstanding, and the price was reasonable. Well done to the staff.

Getting into the city center is easy, about a 10-minute taxi ride for just $2. We’d had a bad experience at another hotel in Riobamba, so Asher hotel was a really nice surprise. The place feels new and stylish, with lots of attention to detail. Our room was cozy, clean, and relaxing, and breakfast was generous. The staff were friendly and helpful. Thanks for a lovely stay.

The rooftop gave us fantastic views of Chimborazo, and we got lucky with clear weather. We spent three nights at Asher HyT, where the staff were warm and helpful from the start. They even arranged a great Chimborazo tour the night we arrived for the following morning. Our room was clean and well equipped, the bed was very comfortable, and breakfast was great. The shower got decently hot, which had been hard to find elsewhere on our Ecuador trip. I’d definitely recommend staying here in Riobamba.

From the street the location looks a little sketchy, but inside it feels completely different. The rooms and building are modern, comfortable, clean, and safe, and the property is well maintained. Staff were attentive and the hotel catered to our needs. Breakfast and parking are free, and the front desk can connect you with tourist agencies.
