It’s a nice place, but it’s been neglected. The facilities are damp, run-down, and leaky, so the price doesn’t match their condition. Our clothes and suitcases got wet in a room they knew had leaks. They shouldn’t rent that room out. If they already had the problem, a partial refund would have been fair. The hotel needs maintenance.
The TVs, air conditioning, and Wi-Fi could all use an upgrade.
This hotel is supposed to be a place to relax, but management lets people drink and play music around the pool late into the night. They don’t enforce the quiet rules so other guests can rest, and nobody steps in. It’s unbelievable. Why don’t Ecuadorians respect the rules?
The food is tasty and the prices are very affordable, so it’s a good place to unwind. Wi-Fi worked well. The drawback is that some rooms don’t have cable channels.
The manager was very friendly, and the place wasn’t unpleasant, but I’m judging it against what a three-star hotel should offer. The room was humid, the towels smelled musty, and paint was peeling from the wall. On the plus side, there was hot water, comfortable mattresses, air conditioning, and a pool. I’m giving two stars to point out what needs improvement.
