We got a discount on the suite with the jacuzzi, and the room was spectacular. It had a comfortable bed and couch, satellite TV, a fridge, and air conditioning. Downstairs, the pool and hot tub were fantastic and stayed open until midnight. You can have beers there too. The beach is within walking distance.

The room itself was okay, but the stay was a bad experience and I wouldn’t return. We checked into a family room, and although the phone service had been great, the welcome in person wasn’t. I asked the young man who showed us the room to remove the minibar because our kids have gotten into things like that at midnight before. He refused and said we wouldn’t be charged as long as they didn’t touch anything. I then had to sign a form listing all the minibar items. Our room was on the second floor, right in front of the pool, and around 7 the kids’ shouting started. We tried to make it work, but everyone got up, packed, and left before 8. The hotel has nice infrastructure, but the service and experience were terrible.

We went for New Year’s, and they put on their own fireworks. You also get a great view of all the fireworks that night. The only issue was being charged for soda we never touched in the fridge. We’d brought our own water bottles and food to store there. Still, it was a nice stay.

They upgraded us at no extra charge because our room wasn’t ready. The location was quiet and good, especially over the weekend. The staff were honest and kind, too. I left some belongings in the room, and they kindly sent them back. Good value for the money.
