The service was really nice and super fast, even though the restaurant was full. Richard was a great waiter and helped us get our food quickly between films at the fantasy and horror festival, thank you! We couldn’t add a tip when paying by card. The place looks nice inside and out, but the food wasn’t very good. Laterna baar definitely has better food. :)

We stopped by for a quick meal and a beer, and the sunny weather drew us to the terrace. There’s a quiet, private corner outside with a few tables where you can sit and relax. The menu is small but sufficient, so it’s easy to choose. I had the French onion soup, which was tasty, and a good old Valmiermuiža beer, which is always a safe bet. Service was fast, probably because there weren’t many people around. It looks like they offer accommodation too, though I haven’t tried it. Maybe next time. I’d definitely recommend coming here for food or a drink.

We had an amazing meal, with super delicious dishes and really nice ingredients for everyone. The service was friendly, and the prices were affordable. It’s right in the heart of Haapsalu’s gorgeous old town, and there’s a terrace as well.

The location is excellent, right in town. The rooms are large and bright, but basic, and the bathrooms are shared. My booking said breakfast was included, but I only got it on the first morning. I felt ripped off, since the hotel is very expensive without breakfast. The Wi-Fi was unbelievably poor. Good Wi-Fi is really important in Estonia for looking up transport, since public transport is limited.
