The gardens stretch right down to the shore, and the whole place feels made for unwinding. We stayed two nights on the way from Riga to Tallinn and loved it. The service was attentive and friendly, and the large estate is beautiful. Dinner at restaurant Alexander was very nice, though not exactly cheap. We also enjoyed the sauna in the side building and the morning yoga class. A special place if you want to relax in style.

We came to the Manor for four nights for a wedding, choosing it over the glamping option, which isn’t really our thing. The staff welcomed us warmly and showed us to bright, comfortable, spacious rooms with good-sized bathrooms, a tub, and a shower. The spa day was a treat, with great treatments, three different saunas, and a cold plunge. I especially liked the fresh herb and honey scrub before the wood-burning sauna, then tea in the garden. The yoga class the next morning felt more like stretching, but Pila was lovely. We had dinner at Alexander on our first night. The setting and Imrah’s piano playing made it feel magical, and my husband, twin daughters, and I will remember it for years. The food was just okay for us, since we’re not fans of fancy Michelin-star food, but the staff were attentive, and the wine and dessert were wonderful. We ate lunch several times at the smaller Yacht Club restaurant. The gazpacho, salad, charcuterie, and Sav Blanc were delicious. I’d just suggest a slightly bigger menu. The grounds are gorgeous and very peaceful. We did have some trouble with the AC, and there was a strange smell from the sink and shower water at times. The room could also have used more service than bed-making and towel changes. By the end, our sink was quite dirty and the bins were full. Still, we enjoyed the stay a lot. The owner was kind, and Gilbert and Laura were especially lovely and attentive.

It’s a shame, because the location has potential, but the entrance fee at the gate is likely to put visitors off, even though it can be refunded if you dine. We found little to see that justified paying just to walk around. I’ve never been asked to pay an entry fee simply to visit the grounds and eat at a restaurant. It might make sense for a museum or a remarkable garden, but this is an old manor without notable flower gardens or other attractions. The garden café and restaurant didn’t match the high-end image the place seems to aim for. Our group of four got incorrect orders, and the service was noticeably poor.

Such a cosy, lovely place, with a fireplace, movie projector, and a view of “Love Island”. The house is 250 years old. The sweet owner let us pet and feed his very expensive Koi Fish. Dogs are welcome, too. Our dog had beef cheeks sent to the room and had the best time running around. The bathtub was glorious.

We stayed in the Farm House Villa, where rustic charm and comfort came together beautifully, with breathtaking scenery all around. Dinner at Alexander was a four-course show of wonderful flavors and thoughtful presentation. The private sauna was a real highlight, such a peaceful way to unwind. The staff also made a big difference, welcoming us with genuine warmth and making us feel like honored guests. Pädaste Manor is a lovely choice for quiet, great food, attentive service, and a bit of wellness luxury. Already counting the days until we can come back.
