We stayed here twice in a private room and really liked it. The staff were polite and helpful, and both the kitchen and the rest of the place were very clean. In the mornings, we enjoyed the free sauna and chatting with friendly travelers. It's right across from the gate to the old town, with a grocery store about a five-minute walk away. We arrived in Tallinn early and could safely leave our bags until the 3 p.m. check-in.

The location made this an easy choice for me: right outside the old town, and within walking distance of the Baltic Sea and ferry terminal. I was a little wary of staying in a hostel, but the affordable private room with its own bathroom left me very pleased. There's a modern, fully equipped shared kitchen, plus paid coffee and drinks on site. Great value for money.

The sauna and cold water pool were simple, but practical and functional. It would have been better if soap and shampoo were provided in the sauna and shower areas. Our twin-bed rooms were neat, clean, tidy and minimalist, and the man at reception was calm and polite. The old town is very close, and the price was cheaper.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were large. There's a very nice kitchen, and the location is convenient for both the old town and the ferry port. I'd stay here again.

We were driving on toward Finland, and the location near the port was excellent. The room itself was nice, clean and comfortable. Service was the problem: the receptionist spoke Estonian and English, while we spoke Russian and Finnish, and she couldn't explain anything to us. Saying “I don't speak Finnish” or “I don't speak Russian” over and over isn't a way to sort out the situation. That's why I rated the service so poorly.
