For the same price, I've seen places with much more comfortable furniture, so the cost feels too high. The hostel has a relaxing living room and kitchen, a good location near the city center, and very friendly, helpful staff. It's a decent place overall, but the furnishings are old and the beds sag. The hostel rules were either missing or weren't explained. Worst of all, there's only one bathroom per unit, so in the morning you might wait more than 2 hours to use it. The owner has said in comments that the building is old and can't be changed, but they could reduce the number of beds sharing each bathroom. Maybe that would mean less money for them.

The bathrooms are basic, but they do the job. The beds were clean and comfortable, and there was free cornflakes too. The place has a brilliant, friendly atmosphere, with lots of guests returning for another stay. Wednesday open mic night was great, with plenty of talented performers.

We had a lovely two-night stay at this Tallinn hostel, right in the center. There's a common room with musical instruments, and anyone can play them for free.

Musicians should check this place out: there's a whole room full of instruments, and even parking if you're arriving by car. It's one of the best hostels I've visited, with great staff and a location just three blocks from the old center.

Having private parking here was a real plus, since parking in the city can get expensive. The hostel was clean and pleasant, with a huge lounge, and the staff were very nice.
