We had a great time working out in the spacious, well-equipped main gym, and the gym gear in our room was a thoughtful extra. The room itself was quiet, roomy, comfortable, and beautifully designed, with excellent soundproofing. It also had a private sauna, which came in handy because the shared sauna and steam rooms were often busy, even though they were lovely. Breakfast was fantastic, and dinner at the rooftop Japanese restaurant was delicious. Staff at reception and in the dining venues were consistently warm and friendly. The hotel felt modern and clean, and I’d absolutely stay here again.

Breakfast was tasty and good quality, though it was busy and there didn’t seem to be enough waitresses taking menu orders. I’m a Radisson VIP and they gave us a lovely suite upgrade with a great view of the old town.

The breakfast was the best ever! There’s a good selection of restaurants and bars in the building, and the spa and wet areas were enjoyable. Our room was very clean, the location was good, and the service was attentive without being intrusive.

Anna Stina in the breakfast restaurant and bar area still stands out from our November stay. She was professional, kind, and attentive, and even remembered our usual coffees despite the changing guests. Seeing her each morning was a lovely start to our days in Tallinn. The kitchen team also did a great job with the fresh, delicious food. We especially appreciated the apple cider vinegar and pumpkin seed oil. The sauna area was beautiful and peaceful when we timed it right, with a gentle fire always burning, and the well-equipped gym gave us a challenging workout each day. Dimytry, the night manager, was kind, as was Anton at the front desk in the early hours. I enjoyed greeting Anton over lobby coffee by the fireplace before my 5:00 workouts. The Estonia truffles left as a welcome amenity were clever and tasty, and we liked the Tallinn wafers in the lobby too. The room situation was a major disappointment during our nine nights. As Radisson VIP, I understood that we should get the highest room category available at check-in. The key card pamphlet also said we would be upgraded to the highest category or best room, but Julia, the Guest Relations Manager, gave us a one-category upgrade. The website appeared to show some higher-category rooms available throughout our stay. When I raised this with Julia, she said that wasn’t how it worked at Radisson Tallinn and that the room we had been given was all she had. We had booked because we wanted an Old Town view. After I showed her the availability on the hotel website, we were moved to a suite facing the city. I appreciated the upgrade, though I felt I shouldn’t have had to ask for it. Julia assured me we wouldn’t see or hear the construction site, and said many guests preferred that view to the Old Town. But we could hear the construction all day, and its intense lights shone into the room all night. The Old Town view was a big reason we chose Radisson, so this left a lasting negative impression despite the many good parts of our stay.

The breakfast was fantastic, with a luxurious range of dishes, and the staff made everything feel easy. They speak Russian, Estonian, and English, so interactions were smooth and comfortable. The hotel was elegant, spotless, and thoughtfully designed, and the service was among the best I’ve experienced. I’d recommend it, and if breakfast is included in your stay, you’re in for a memorable meal.
