Antonius Boutique Hotel

We were a family of three, two parents and a child, staying in room 303, and felt at home right away. The room was elegant, cosy, beautifully designed, spotless, and comfortable, with a charming feel. The large bathroom was a real treat. Downstairs, the restaurant had lovely food and atmosphere, and the staff were especially kind and welcoming. They clearly cared about making our stay special. A fireplace in the room would have made it perfect, but even without one, it was a five-star experience. Thank you, Hotel Antonius, for making our time in Estonia so warm and memorable. We can’t wait to come back! 💫

Avoid suite 202! It was dark and dingy, with a very worn interior. Every time we showered, about 0.5cm of water spread over the whole bathroom. We had to use towels to make a barrier, and they gave us a mop as though we should clean it up ourselves. We reported it to reception on the first afternoon, but nothing was fixed during our entire three-night stay. It was ridiculous. The staff seemed friendly but were useless at taking the problem seriously or dealing with it, so we spent the whole time with a swimming pool instead of a bathroom. Completely unacceptable. The manager was also disinterested and utterly inept at handling or resolving the complaint. I don’t understand how this hotel is rated so highly with such a poor attitude.

It was only a one-night stay, but everything was just right. The staff were calm and professional, the room cosy, and breakfast tasty. Everything you need to want to come back.

A cosy, comfortable room and delicious breakfast, with an a la carte menu as a nice extra. Both check-in and checkout were quick and seamless. The hotel is a real gem, just across from the main building of the University of Tartu, making it a great spot for exploring town. I’ll certainly try to stay here on my next visit to Tartu.
