Tonisson Apartments

The location and neighborhood are very nice, and the rooms are large, clean, and pleasant. But the poor sound insulation is nearly a dealbreaker for me. I was on the ground floor and could hear every step from upstairs. Children ran around, making the whole room vibrate for hours. They weren't doing anything wrong, but the insulation just isn't good. Another night I could hear someone watching TV in the next room. It's a nice house, and this could be improved.

We found the apartment cozy, pleasant, and generally clean. My concern was safety. We were on the first floor, where the windows are low and wide, so on a hot summer day you have to choose between overheating and possibly letting an intruder in. The doors use a code instead of a key, so it seems anyone with key access could probably get in easily.

I've stayed here three times now, across two different rooms. The beds and bedding are excellent, and the rooms are comfortable and well furnished. It's a very nice boutique apartment hotel, a great option in Tartu if you want extra space and quiet. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay. The house has a special vibe, with a really nice, peaceful atmosphere, and it was clean. They'd even added a little Christmas touch to our room. 10 out of 10.
