2/10
The room I’d booked had been given to someone else, since the bed-and-breakfast was full. I turned down the hostess’s offer of a bed in a basement room that people had to walk through. She then offered a room like a little attic with a window. That was preferable to the basement option, though breakfast was only so-so.

6/10
It felt very homely, and the owner was kind. Pets are allowed, though dogs didn’t seem to be much of a favourite. At 10€/dog/night, the fee is very high. Remember you’re staying in someone’s home, so be respectful.

The owners treat guests like family. It’s quiet, cozy, and clean, and really good value for the money.
