I stayed for a few days when I first came to Tartu for Erasmus, before I moved into an apartment. It felt cozy, the staff were nice, and everything was clean. Breakfast basics like bread, butter, and cereal are free. The beds squeaked terribly, though. I'd stay again.

There are board games, a guitar, comic books, and lots of travel information in the living room, and the kitchen is spacious and well equipped. Breakfast is provided too, with toast, cereal, muesli, jam, eggs, butter, milk, coffee, and tea. It's right on the town square, but up on the fourth floor with no elevator. Prices are the cheapest in Tartu, so don't expect a five-star hotel. Probably not a fit for fancy people or anyone who cares a lot about details.

It's affordable, in a good location, and not too noisy or crowded. The place is tidy, but that doesn't mean it's clean, and it feels poorly maintained. The shower head was broken, the sheets were threadbare and looked like they hadn't been replaced, and I could feel the mattress springs. I nearly left a day early just to avoid another night in that bed.

Terviseks was one of the nicest hostels I've stayed in. The view was awesome, the rooms really comfortable, and the breakfast good. The staff were lovely and the location unbeatable. BBB means Bueno, Bonito and Barato in Spanish, and all three fit.
