Grand Ocean El Sokhna

The rooms were old, poorly maintained, and smelled damp. The TV looked like it was from the 1970s, the remote batteries were dead, and the beds were uncomfortable. Hotel policies were unclear. The internet kept disconnecting, and most staff were extremely rude, though a few people from the restaurant team were nice. The place felt unsafe, which is a serious problem. The elevators had no sensors, so the doors could close on children. The huge pool had no lifeguard or warning sign. Half of the poorly managed kids’ area was closed, and nobody was supervising the children. My experience at Grand Ocean Ain Sokhna was extremely disappointing and very different from what was shown online. I definitely wouldn’t recommend it to families or anyone expecting a safe, professional hotel.

The whole staff were more than amazing, professional, helpful, and respectful. Mr. Maher, Mr. Tamer, Youssef Mohamed, Mohamed Gamal, Mohamed Hany, and at reception Mr. Amr and Ibrahim were extraordinary with their service and assistance. They made our stay much more relaxing and satisfying. The rooms were clean, and the food had a very good variety. We had an exceptional experience.

The beach was amazing, and the staff we met were friendly and attentive. They really made us feel valued. The hotel is beautiful, the location was perfect, and our room was spotless and comfortable. We had a fantastic stay and can’t wait to return. I’d highly recommend it.

We came in April and the weather was fine, but the beach was covered in fuel from ships, a black slime that stuck to everything. It was almost 11 am and nobody had come to clean it. The gym was always closed, and the main pool that was supposed to be heated was as cold as ice. I won’t visit again. I can’t imagine how bad the service gets when the place is busier.
