Jaz Little Venice Golf Resort

Having rooms arranged beside one another made things much easier for our large group, and the staff were friendly and accommodating throughout. The rooms were spacious and thoughtfully laid out, with direct access to the pool and kids’ play area that was especially handy with children. Meals had a good range for kids, adults of different ages, and guests who were fasting. Chef Zein was particularly kind and attentive, and his personal touch helped make the stay feel special. The atmosphere at Jaz Little Venice was warm, calm, and family-friendly. We felt looked after and left with lovely memories. We’d happily return.

The restaurant could use friendlier staff. The person helping us with the bakery was lovely, but the others didn’t feel as welcoming. Service elsewhere, from reception to housekeeping and the golf cars, was very nice. The hotel is small, but it had the facilities we needed for a winter stay with kids, including a convenient playground and roomy rooms. The food was especially delicious and well balanced, with a variety that suited different tastes. Credit to the chef for making such a difference.

The food was the worst part of our stay. The range, quality, and taste were all poor, and we left everything we tried on our plates. The chicken in the photo I attached was raw, which I couldn’t believe was being served at a hotel in this chain. Breakfast was also below average, with poor quality cold cuts and very little choice of bread. The rooms were spacious but very old, and the floors weren’t clean. The hotel itself is small, with limited facilities, in the middle of a medium-class town. The beach is far away, with just a few chaise-lounges and a poor bar, and nothing else there. Service wasn’t good either. No one opened the door at reception, and when we planned to check out at 12:45pm because our baby was asleep, reception confirmed it, but someone knocked at 12:10pm despite our “do not disturb” sign to tell us to check out. We stayed last weekend and it didn’t meet our expectations at all. Not recommended.

Meals were a real highlight at Jaz Little Venice, with fresh, delicious food and plenty of cuisines and choices for different tastes. Chef Zein’s care and passion came through in the flavors, variety, and presentation. The resort itself was peaceful, well kept, and suited to either a family trip or a quiet seaside break. I had a genuinely great stay, with excellent hospitality and a relaxing atmosphere. I’d recommend it to anyone after a quality resort experience in Ain Sokhna.
