Clean and tidy, and a perfect place for a family to relax.

We were happy with our second stay at Redsina Hotel. It was renovated in 2024, with a water park and 6 slides added, and the grounds are very green and well maintained. There are lots of European guests and relatively few Russian-speaking guests from the CIS, so staff barely speak Russian apart from receptionists. That was fine, and even interesting, since you meet all kinds of people. The main restaurant staff deserve a mention: Atef, Islam, El Sayed, and Mina were attentive, polite, caring, and excellent at their jobs. Management, please give them a shout-out. The food and cuisine disappointed us a bit, so I raised it with the manager at reception. They called the chef, whose name I unfortunately don't remember. He said the menu was changing and many new items were being added. I was glad he listened to my criticism and responded kindly. My friends recommend this hotel.
There are plenty of activities here, including archery, boules, and the water park. Those were the only things I'd recommend. The rest of my stay was unfortunately a letdown. After check-in we found the dryer was broken, took photos, and reported it. A staff member came and said it was fine. We called again and were told it would be fixed the next day, but it still wasn't. When we were leaving, they pulled us off the bus and charged us $25 for the broken dryer, even after we explained and showed the photos. They wouldn't let us go. We had left a $20 tip at check-in. The room was dirty, with splattered bathroom mirrors and stains on the floor. We tipped the cleaners several times, but they mostly just made the bed. We had to ask for water refills every day, and when we ran out of shower gel we had to leave a note asking for more. The first dinner seemed okay, but nothing new appeared during our week. The optional restaurants were a joke. We went to Oliviera: appetizers were cooked in one pot at the table, the main course was more or less okay, and dessert was buffet tiramisu that was nothing like tiramisu. I wouldn't order fish or seafood there, if they even offer it.
