Porto Sokhna Hotel

We waited about 1 hour for the apartment key, and the place we eventually received was nothing like the nice room and apartment Mohamed, the rental agent, had shown us. It was dirty and poorly maintained, and the toilet hadn't even been flushed when we arrived. The whole experience was extremely disappointing. Be careful to check that the rental matches what was promised before agreeing.

The people at Porto Sokhna made the stay feel warm from the start. Reception was professional, welcoming, and ready to help, and staff across the hotel were attentive and cooperative. The rooms were comfortable, spotless, and well cared for, and that same cleanliness showed throughout the property. I also really enjoyed the food. There was plenty of variety, the quality was high, and each meal felt thoughtfully prepared. The whole experience exceeded my expectations. Thanks to everyone at Porto Sokhna for making it such a pleasant, memorable stay. I'd happily return and recommend it.

The view is the one thing I liked. The beds were uncomfortable, and the pillows were a real pain. The showers were poor, the sinks and showers were blocked, and the toilets weren't clean. There were fingerprints all over the glass, dust on the tables, bed, and other surfaces, and the rooms and apartments were very dirty. The furniture is extremely outdated. I'd stay somewhere else and just go to the Porto restaurants for lunch or dinner.

For families with kids, this place is a good option. The beach is accessible, and there are swimming pools as well. Service is acceptable, and the staff do a great job. Prices are affordable for a medium budget. I was here on a business trip but still got a chance to enjoy myself. The telepherec runs during the day, there are a few games downstairs, and things start getting going around 8-9 am.
