We could see the pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum from the balcony and even from the bathtub. The hotel is on the sixth floor of a building, and it feels like a hidden gem. The airport pickup was great, and they can arrange different excursions if you want. The staff were so friendly and professional, and made us feel at home and safe. Thanks for looking after us. If we come back to Cairo, we'll stay here again.

The balcony view of the pyramids was breathtaking, and waking up to it is something we'll remember. There was even a bathtub right by the balcony doors, a lovely setting for photos with the pyramids behind us. Our room was brand new, beautifully decorated, and full of thoughtful details. Mostafa at the front desk was kind, respectful, and always ready to help. He arranged great city tours for us and made a real difference to our trip. The owner, Mr. Waleed, was welcoming too, and you can feel how much care he puts into the hotel. We had a wonderful stay at Eyes of Egypt Hotel and can't wait to return.

The personal welcome from the owner and his wife made our stay especially memorable. Their warmth and generosity, along with the team's care, left a real impression on us. Waleed is clearly a dedicated, hands-on entrepreneur who is flexible and genuinely attentive to guests. Thank you to Ali, Mohamed, Makmod, Yousef, and Jasmine for their professional, kind service. We came from Scandinavia as first-time visitors to Egypt, hoping to see the Pyramids, the Sphinx, and the newly opened Grand Egyptian Museum. Staying close to those sights mattered to us, and Eyes of Egypt Boutique Hotel delivered the pyramid views we hoped for. The hotel is on the sixth floor, and inside it feels elegant, thoughtfully designed, and almost like a five-star boutique hotel. The outside gives a different first impression, and the surrounding area isn't as polished, but it was peaceful and we felt safe and comfortable. We weren't bothered by taxi offers or street vendors there, unlike in other places we visited. The airport pickup was much appreciated since we arrived in the middle of the night. The owner greeted us personally, and the staff made us feel welcome from the start. They offered traditional tea and a tasty Egyptian breakfast, and helped us figure out local Uber services and food delivery. Every detail felt handled with kindness. We'd happily recommend the hotel to travelers, especially friends from Scandinavia.

The location was difficult to find, with no hotel signs on a dirty, garbage strewn street. The only clue was an empty, unmarked doorway beside a pharmacy. Inside, it was clearly a residential apartment building, not a hotel. Airport staff and our taxi driver didn't know it and warned us it might not exist. A man there said the online photos were fake and told us to trust that the sixth floor would be nice. We were due to pay $359 USD for four nights. The owner had confirmed airport pickup and early check-in, but didn't show and then stopped replying, leaving us at the airport around 5-6am after an overnight trip. The building felt unsafe: exposed wires, cracked ceilings, damaged walls, and a strong mold and chemical smell. The elevator had no door, broken buttons, exposed wiring, and seemed dangerous. The supposed pyramid view was mostly a parking lot, with the pyramids visible at an angle in the distance beyond countless cars. Traffic noise came through the bedroom walls at all hours. The room looked like a decorated apartment floor being presented as a boutique hotel, with no real hotel services, no cleaning, no kettle, no basic amenities, and no clarity about where the food came from. The heavy, choking smell of mold and chemicals never went away. The toilet kept running and wasn't fixed despite requests. The jacuzzi was dirty and unusable, and the water never got warm enough for a hot bath. After the owner pleaded with us to stay just one night, he still tried to charge us for two. We had to involve the police and Booking.com to get our money back. This feels like false advertising, with serious hygiene, safety, and honesty problems. Save your time, money, and health and stay elsewhere.

Aside from one checkout surprise, we had a great stay. We were charged more than 1000 pounds for three drinks and a few chocolates from the mini fridge, though no note mentioned a charge and nobody told us. We checked prices at a local supermarket, and the amount was far above what those items were worth. It was really disappointing not to have been told.
