Helnan Mamoura Hotel & Conference center

Our phone booking had been confirmed, but when we arrived Mai at the front desk said there were no rooms, in a very arrogant tone. After I asked to speak to the Front Desk Manager to make a complaint, a room suddenly became available, but at a higher rate than what I’d agreed to on WhatsApp. Mai had been extremely rude and unprofessional from the start. In hospitality, the first impression matters, and this left us with a very negative view of the hotel and its management. It’s concerning to have someone like this representing the hotel at reception. This raises serious questions for me about the hotel’s integrity, transparency, and professionalism. Practices like this damage both the guest experience and the hotel’s reputation. I hope management deals with it promptly so other guests aren’t treated the same way.

I was there for a conference, and the private beach was probably the best part: very clean, with plenty of privacy and beach services including toilets, towels, a bar, and a lifeguard. The room was spacious and luxurious, with all the amenities provided, and the staff were nice. Breakfast was amazing, especially the chef’s pancakes, which are a must try. I didn’t get to try the pool, maybe next time. There’s also a private garage for 100Egy.

The price is pretty good, and the pool was good too, with a separate one for kids. The beach view is lovely, and there’s a private area on the beach where you’re mostly by yourselves, with only a couple of other families nearby. I’d go again.

We spent a few hours in the heated swimming pool, which felt a little small for the number of rooms. The service was top notch, with people around ready to help. I was there for a day and night for a wedding. The rooms were clean but a bit narrow for me. I only tried the food at the wedding buffet: some dishes were really delicious and others just okay. A nice experience overall.
