Kato Waidi Nubian House

The balcony view was astounding, and the location was perfect, close to everything. We loved the delicious food, and the staff treated us like family. We had the best time and will definitely go back ❤️❤️❤️

Getting to the hotel by car was really difficult, so we had to take a tuktuk there and back. That was a bit inconvenient since the tours charged extra for the tuktuk. Still, it was a fun and interesting experience. It's right by the water in the heart of the Nubian village, with very nice staff and a pretty good restaurant. Breakfast was included and very generous: fried eggs, bread, jam, honey, oatmeal, yogurt, and a cheese and olive plate. Our three bed room was clean, spacious, and nicely painted and decorated.

The warm welcome and kind spirit from the staff stayed with us throughout the visit. The food felt made with love, and the team was exceptional. It's a special Nubian house, close to the tourist Nubian market, and felt like heaven on earth. I'd go back every time I visit Al Nuba 🤍

We stayed here with family for a couple of days and had tasty food and a wonderful time. The hotel sits on the shore of nile River, and the view from our little room balcony was lovely. Being in the Nubian village gave us a chance to learn more about the community. Their several languages, clothes, food, and everyday life are quite distinct, and the people are very lovely. Mr. Hameidhi, the owner, was humble and modest, without boasting even though he has plenty to be proud of. Mr. Mohammed, his relative, explained Nubian culture to us very well. It's a great option in Aswan.
