Kulih Nubian Guest House

There were lots of mosquitoes in our room, and we got bitten repeatedly. There weren’t any basic items like shampoo or a hair dryer either. When we arrived, the room wasn’t ready and check-in was difficult. Towels weren’t in the room, and we were told there weren’t enough to provide. Other groups staying that day seemed to have the same problem. Honestly, I don’t see why the ratings are so high. If you need basic facilities and things ready when you arrive, check ahead and bring what you’ll need.

Update: I wasn’t staying at your property. We were at the hotel next door. At 11:30 PM, I asked a woman in management if they could turn down the music because we couldn’t sleep. She was polite and said she’d handle it, but nothing changed, and it carried on until 3:00 AM. The music itself was fine, but playing it that late isn’t appropriate for a quiet area like West of Sohail. The noise and loud music went on all night, and we couldn’t sleep. Management didn’t seem to care. It was an awful experience, and I absolutely wouldn’t recommend staying there.

I stayed for 3 nights and had a really good experience. The rooms, service, staff, and people were all great. They were extremely helpful and kind, and I loved their shows and the view. I’d definitely stay again.

The traditional Nubian breakfast was delicious, with bread, eggs, and beans, and the staff even packed breakfast for us on mornings when we had early tours. Ahmed, the owner, was friendly, quick to answer our questions, and helped arrange car rides. My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Kulih Guest House. The room was comfortable, though the wardrobe and shelves were a little dusty and could have been cleaned better. Everything else was great. Thank you!
